Concert in Progress

Last night, the group took some time to unwind and settle in.

Currently, Nadja and the Orchestra are onstage at the Cleveland Museum of Art’s beautifully refurbished Gartner Auditorium. The Auditorium re-opened just one year ago, after a renovation by Westlake Reed Leskosky. The space, originally designed in 1971, was re-imaged, re-tuned, and technologically upgraded to accommodate the changing needs of the Museum.

Tomorrow will bring the Orchestra to a more intimate venue at Denison University. In preparation for tomorrow’s concert, Nadja interviewed with WOSU Classical 101. Listen to clips from that interview here.

By the way… I’m sorry that I didn’t get Tony’s inquiry re: a lunch restaurant in time to respond. There is a Chinese restaurant not far from where you were that had the most authentic Chinese food I’ve eaten in a restaurant! I used to stop ther for breakfast most mornings when I got off work. Oh, well.

I’m so glad I made it to this show…neither rain nor sleet nor snow could keep me from the NCCO! It was great to meet you Nadja. All the best to the ensemble-You’ve got a fan for life. Safe travels.
